ROAD TOWN, British Virgin Islands – 2nd July, 2024 – Bitfinex (https://www.bitfinex.com), a premier digital asset trading platform, announced today that it will list MEW, the native token of cat in a dogs world. MEW is a meme coin built on the Solana blockchain. The project combines a strategic burning strategy and intentional airdrops, and claims to be a blueprint for memecoins to incorporate value, community, and scarcity into their core functionalities.
MEW was launched on 26th March, 2024, and has witnessed adoption in the Solana ecosystem due to its high transaction speeds and low fees. It is reported that within the first three hours of its launch, it attracted industry attention with a transaction value of $150 million.

Deposits for MEW are expected to open at approximately 11:00 AM UTC on 2nd July, 2024 subject to network conditions. Trading is planned to commence at approximately 11:00 AM UTC on 4th July, 2024 contingent upon liquidity requirements being met. MEW will be tradable against US Dollars (MEW/USD) and Tether tokens (MEW/USDt).
